Participation in national decisions, no woman should be apolitical: Maryam Nawaz

 


Maryam Nawaz, the chief organizer of the ruling party Muslim League-N in Pakistan, has said that no woman should be apolitical. To ensure women's participation in decision-making at the national level, elect people who can be their voice.

Addressing a function held in Lahore on the occasion of International Women's Day, he said that if women can manage the house successfully, which is a very difficult task, then they can be successful in every field of life.

Maryam Nawaz said that women also run the kitchen and work. "Women can do multi-tasking, so why can't they participate in the country's politics."

He said that he credits his father Nawaz Sharif for entering politics while his mother trained and encouraged him.

Maryam Nawaz said that the position of women should be given to them. "Women are included in the front line of Muslim League-N."

He paid tribute to former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto while mentioning the big names of Pakistani women.

Maryam Nawaz criticized former Prime Minister Imran Khan and described herself as his daughter's age. As a woman, I consider it insulting to mention Imran Khan's name. He yells at a woman of his daughters' age.

He said that 'PTI people talk about my marriage which was arranged by my parents.'
