Pakistan's Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that 'Saudi Arabia and Iran should restore their relations.'
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, while holding a press conference in New York on Friday, said that China played a leading role in restoring relations between Saudi Arabia and Iran. This is a historic achievement of the President of China.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that we congratulate the leadership of Saudi Arabia and Iran on this important achievement. We also appreciate the coupled rather than the divisive character of China. '
It is China's role that leads to win-win cooperation. I welcome this move.
He said that the Muslim world and the international community should raise their voices for women's rights. Islam is a progressive religion that gives rights to women.
Referring to the achievements of women in the Muslim world, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said, "There is a big change in the Middle East at the moment."
"Under the leadership of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in Saudi Arabia, women are getting more and more opportunities to advance."
He also mentioned the involvement of women in various fields in the UAE.
Regarding the rights of women in Afghanistan, he said that Islam has given rights to women. No group in Afghanistan or anywhere else can claim that the actions it takes are the teachings of Islam.
"The world must work together to address the challenges facing women."
The foreign minister added that it is very welcome to have a session on Islamophobia under the auspices of the United Nations.
"We have hosted two historic events. Two days ago, we organized an event here on the platform of OIC regarding International Women's Day and told the world that Islam has given rights to women.
"We spoke today at the United Nations in front of the whole world about Islamophobia and told the world that Islamophobia is a big problem. Setting a date of 15 March for Islamophobia is our success.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said in response to a question that "I think that Pakistan will not recognize Israel without solving the problem of the people of Palestine."
In this regard, our country, our people, and our history have a very clear position and we are proud of it.
"Pakistan has taken many steps to protect human rights."
He further said that Pakistan is currently facing economic challenges. Discussions with the IMF have not yet reached any final result.
"The reason for our current dire economic situation is the corona epidemic, the fall of the government in Afghanistan, and the flood last year."
In response to a question, he said that "Pakistan is maintaining positive relations with the interim government of Afghanistan."
Our first demand is that they stick to their commitments to the international community. A peaceful, stable, and secure Afghanistan is in Pakistan's interest.
He added that "the interim government of Afghanistan has made its first promise that its land will not be used for terrorism."
"They failed in this, the first target is the people of Afghanistan and the second is Pakistan."
