In India, the colorful religious festival 'Holi' turned into trouble for many citizens when they were harassed by crowds on the streets.
Several videos have emerged on social media from various parts of India in which dozens of people playing with colors are seen harassing citizens, especially women.
It should be noted that the Hindu community around the world celebrated the festival of Holi on March 8 and all these videos are also from the same day.
Journalist Mir Faisal shared a video from Dhampur in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, in which two women wearing hijab are being forcibly painted and thrown bags full of water at them by several boys.
In another video, a Japanese female tourist was not only tortured by young boys, but she was also subjected to color pelting.
According to Indian News Agency 'ANI', Delhi Police says that no complaint has been filed about the incident with the Japanese woman tourist, but Delhi Police has contacted the Japanese Embassy to identify the woman and harass them. Action should be taken against those.

In another viral video, a foreign woman is seen complaining about being harassed by a group of tourists, but Indian fact-checker Mohammad Zubair wrote in a tweet that the video was "two years old."
