Pakistan's national airline PIA has announced flight operations and private Haj fares for Haj 2023.
According to a statement released by Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) on Saturday, the national airline will continue Hajj flight operations from May 21 to August 2.
PIA has fixed the fares for private Hajj passengers from $870 to $1180.
According to the spokesperson of PIA, these fares under Private Hajj are for pilgrims going from South Region which includes Karachi, Quetta, Sukkur, and Hyderabad.
The North Sector includes Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, Multan, and other cities. Fares from 910 dollars to 1220 dollars have been set for pilgrims going from there.
According to the statement, the Ministry of Religious Affairs will announce the fares of pilgrims going under the official Hajj scheme, which are expected to be between Rs.310,000 and Rs.330,000.
The full official Hajj will be done in 10 lakh 25 thousand rupees.
According to the spokesperson, PIA will transport more than 38 thousand pilgrims to the Holy Hijaz while more than 44 thousand pilgrims will be operated by Saudi Airlines and two private airlines operating from Pakistan.
PIA will use Boeing 777 and Airbus 320 for its Hajj flight operations to Jeddah and Madinah.
