Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor and actress Shraddha Kapoor's new comedy-romance film 'To Jhooti Mein Makar' is releasing today.
According to NDTV, apart from interviews, the film is being promoted extensively through Instagram Reels.
In this regard, during the media session, Ranbir Kapoor was asked why he and Shraddha Kapoor are promoting the film separately.
He was preparing to answer this when another journalist asked whether his wife Alia Bhatt has any objection to promoting the film with Shraddha Kapoor or has forbidden it?
In response, Ranbir Kapoor clarified that 'why would she (Alia Bhatt) forbid, who said that.'
Before the reporter could ask any more questions, Ranbir Kapoor took the mic again and said, 'You are spreading such rumors and trying to create controversy, maybe because I don't have controversy in my life these days.
According to Hindustan Times, Ranbir Kapoor was asked a similar question at another event, to which he replied, "The filmmakers want the public to see the new couple for the first time in cinemas."
On this occasion, he said that his daughter Raha and wife Alia Bhatt are in Kashmir and I want them to come back soon as they are anxious to meet me.
Alia Bhatt is currently shooting for her film 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani' in Indian-administered Kashmir.
A few days ago, the 40-year-old actor had said with reference to his late father Rishi Kapoor that 'the death of a parent is a big event for any person, especially when you are in your 40s.'
He further said that 'no one prepares you for this day, it is a difficult time but it gives you an understanding of life.'
Keep in mind that Ranbir Kapoor's father Rishi Kapoor passed away in April 2020.
