The anti-terrorism and banking courts of Islamabad have granted interim bail to former Prime Minister Imran Khan in two different cases, while arrest warrants have been issued for him in the Tosha Khana case.
On Tuesday, Imran Khan appeared in the Anti-Terrorism Court of Islamabad, where the case against him for terrorism and interference in the work of the government is being heard.
At the request of Imran Khan's lawyers, the interim bail of the Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman was approved.
Meanwhile, the doors of the Judicial Complex of Islamabad were damaged during the attack by the Tehreek-e-Insaaf workers.
According to the spokesperson of Islamabad Police, action will be taken against those who vandalized the judicial complex.
A spokesperson of Islamabad Police said that a case is being registered against those who entered the judicial complex. Those who damage government property will have to face action.
According to the spokesman, action will also be taken against those who assisted in opening the door from the circuit court. Identification is being done with CCTV cameras.
On the other hand, the interim bail of Imran Khan was also approved in the banking court of Islamabad in the case of prohibited funding.
Meanwhile, in the criminal case filed against Imran Khan under the judgment of Tosha Khana reference, he has withdrawn his bail application from the Sessions Court after which warrants have been issued for his arrest.
Imran Khan's lawyers approached the Islamabad High Court seeking interim bail in the case. Chief Justice Amir Farooq has fixed the application for hearing.
